Taking an aspirin to bring down a fever or relieve a headache is common. But, who could have imagined that this product would also be very beneficial for relieving stress on plants?
Plants are living beings that can also suffer from stress, climate change and inappropriate care. It all depends on how you care for them and the conditions in which they grow. Do they benefit from enough light or, on the contrary, are they too exposed to the sun? Are they watered in the right amount? Not to mention that they must continually be protected from the invasion of numerous parasites which disturb them. Although they seem easy to care for, some can be vulnerable and require more attention than others. What effect do you think aspirin would have on your plants?
Why should you use aspirin on your plants?

There are countless situations that can stress your plants, including pruning, extreme temperatures, or even when your pet steps on them or chews on their leaves. To protect themselves, they then produce salicylic acid, an active and powerful substance, commonly called “aspirin”. A medicine that we often use to relieve pain, migraine, fever and all kinds of inflammation.
However, plants secrete it naturally in sometimes insufficient quantities. It would therefore be more judicious to provide them with more to “calm” them down. Aspirin will not only de-stress them, but it will also protect them from micro-organisms and multiple pests and thus make them more resistant to all kinds of illnesses.
Good to know : it is recommended to dissolve one aspirin tablet (pulverized) for each liter of water you use to water your plants.
