More Tips for Growing Healthy Plants
Beyond this tip, you must take into account certain parameters which can guide you in relation to the maintenance and longevity of your plants.
Whether for the interior of the house or for your balcony, it is important to identify the type of each plant. Note that each of them has its own characteristics and specific needs. Some will need a lot of light, others less, direct or indirect exposure to the sun. There are those that require a lot of water and those that cannot tolerate humidity. Some prefer top irrigation, while others need to be irrigated from the base.
If you observe an anomaly or notice that your plant is not growing correctly, there may be some gaps in its maintenance: be aware that plants sometimes have unexpected or unusual needs. It may need to be fertilized more or perhaps it has grown too high and needs pruning. Also check if the light conditions have changed or if it has gained volume, in which case a change of pot is necessary.

Use Natural Fertilizers
If you are not very fond of chemicals that pollute the environment, you can alternate from time to time with natural and ecological ingredients that make perfect fertilizers for your plants. Here are a few :
Coffee Grounds
Rich in phosphorus, nitrogen, magnesium and potassium. Coffee grounds are a particularly interesting fertilizer for plants since it provides them with the nutrients they need. Also, when you prepare your coffee, do not throw away the filter. Instead, use it to spread it over the potting mix or mix it with the soil. But don’t overdo it either!
Eggshells
Didn’t imagine that these shells were beneficial for your plants? And yet, they are ideal for balancing the pH of compost. In addition, they neutralize the acidity of certain fruits and vegetables thanks to their significant contribution of calcium. That’s not all: they provide carbon, magnesium and phosphorus to plants. Don’t throw them away! Break them into small pieces and scatter them on the ground around the roots. Special mention: eggshells can hurt certain parasites who will no longer risk passing through them!
Banana Peels

Did you use to throw away banana peels? What a shame, they are full of nutrients that promote the growth of your plants. Indeed, they are rich in fiber, starch, vitamins (A, B and C) and nitrogen proteins. Banana peel greatly helps with flowering. It is therefore a powerful ecological and organic fertilizer which will do a lot of good for your plants!
The Lawn after cutting the grass
You need to place the herb in a bucket and add water to wet it well. Let it sit for a whole day. Then pour the solution into a sprayer and spray your plants. They will thus benefit from a good quantity of nitrogen.
Caution: plants should never be pruned when they are flowering. The best time to do this is when the flowers have faded or are about to fall off. They must therefore be cut just below the knot.
Remember that many plants cannot tolerate excess water: they stop growing and quickly become sick, not to mention the stems and leaves which darken or turn yellow. You will then probably need to change the soil or transplant it.
Before watering, always observe the plant to check whether it is lacking water or not. How to know? You must place your finger one centimeter from the surface to see if the soil is dry or wet.
