The orchid is a flowering plant that appreciates light. That said, avoid placing your plant in a dark place. In fact, this will prevent your orchid from flowering. Also avoid keeping your plant in an area exposed to drafts, such as near the front door. These openings can cool your orchid, which moreover cannot withstand temperature shocks. Even regularly ventilated rooms should be avoided. The orchid appreciates warm places and appreciates a temperature between 20°C and 30°C in the morning, and between 18°C and 25°C at night.
