Steps to Strengthen Plants with Banana Water
Banana water is a great fertilizer that you can give to your plants if you want them to grow healthily. This will help their growth and improve their health. This trick is natural and you can simply do it with banana peels.
What do you need ?
- A bottle fitted with a sprayer
- A sterilized jar
- A saucepan or pot
- 1.5 liters of filtered water
- 5 banana peels
Preparation :
The first thing to do is to cut the banana peels into small pieces (approximately 1cm to 3cm wide). Simultaneously add water to a saucepan. Place the peelings in the saucepan over medium heat.
Leave the water and the banana peel pieces on the heat for about 15 minutes. Wait for the water to brown and remove everything from the heat. Let the liquid with the banana and water cool.
Then, strain the liquid and discard the peelings. Reserve it in a jar.
Application :
The way to apply this trick is very simple and you can adopt two ways:
- The first tip is to use the liquid product from banana peels and water by pouring it onto the soil to make the leaves, flowers and fruits of the plant grow.
- The second way to do it is to dilute this pure liquid in 4 equal parts of filtered water, put it in a bottle fitted with a sprayer and apply it from this container. You can use this option for green or flowering plants. Both need rich nutrients and this cocktail is ideal for that.

Banana Fermentation: Another option for feeding plants
Another very effective option for watering your plants with good nutrients is banana fermentation. This technique is very simple to adopt but takes a few more days.
What do you need ?
- An elastic band
- A porous fabric or support
- A sterilized jar
- Filtered water
- 5 banana peels
Preparation :
Cut the banana peels into small pieces (approximately 3 cm to 6 cm) and place them in the sterilized jar. Fill the jar with filtered water until they are completely covered. Put a cloth or breathable stocking over the cover and adjust it with an elastic band.
Let the banana peels sit in this water for 7 or 10 days. You will have to be careful because, if fungus appears, you must throw away the contents of the container even if it is important that the liquid ferments.
