Encountering a snail in your garden may seem cute, but they can quickly become a pest for your plants! Here are five tips to help keep these voracious mollusks away.

1. Barriers
Set up copper barriers around your plants, as snails dislike crossing copper. You can also use ashes, eggshells, gravel, sand, or coffee grounds to deter them.

2. Soap
Spray a soap solution made from soap nuts around your crops. This eco-friendly option effectively encourages snails to leave your garden.
3. Orange Peels
Use orange peels to attract and trap snails. Scatter them around your plants at night, and you’ll find snails gathered by morning for easy removal.
4. Garlic
Create a garlic spray by steeping 4 crushed cloves in 1 liter of boiling water for 12 hours. Dilute and spray on vulnerable plants to repel snails.
5. Salt

Mix 30 g of table salt with ½ liter of lukewarm water. Spray this solution on areas frequented by snails in the evening. Use cautiously, as high salt concentrations can harm plants.
Additional Tip
Regularly inspect your garden for hiding spots, as removing debris will expose snails and limit their refuge. With these tips, you can protect your garden from snails effectively!
