  • In a small bowl, mix 1/2 cup powdered sugar with 1 tablespoon borax.
  • Pour 1 cup of lukewarm water over the mixture.
  • Then, simply soak cotton balls in the solution and place them in different areas where ants and flies often appear.

Insects will be attracted to sugar, without suspecting the presence of borax, boric acid, which ends up destroying them once ingested.
