If you missed the lunar calendar for planting garlic in October, there’s no need to worry. What matters most now is following the right weather conditions rather than adhering strictly to lunar cycles. You can still successfully plant garlic in November.

The ideal soil temperature for planting winter garlic ranges between 10-12 degrees Celsius.

According to recommendations, the most favorable planting days for winter garlic in November are 3-4, 12-14, and 20-23. It’s advisable to avoid planting on 1-2, 4-6, 7, 9-10, as well as during the full moon (November 19) and the waxing moon phase (November 5).

Remember to consider the previous crops grown in the bed: avoid planting garlic after onions, celery, parsnips, radishes, parsley, potatoes, beets, and carrots for best results.
